Writers’ Tears comes from Walsh Whiskey, founded in 1999 by husband-and-wife team Bernard and Rosemary Walsh in County Carlow. The brand was created around a traditional Irish whiskey style that combines single pot still and single malt whiskeys, both triple distilled in copper pot stills, with no grain whiskey in the blend.
